Students with Disabilities

The Advancement of Students Unit offers services including learning strategies, emotional support and instructional accommodations.

Dormitory Policy

  1. Students with disabilities of 50% or greater (as determined by the National Insurance Institute, Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services or the Ministry of Defense) are automatically eligible for on-campus housing.
  2. Students with disabilities of 15-49% (as determined by the National Insurance Institute, Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services or the Ministry of Defense) will be given extra points (which will increase eligibility status for on-campus housing).
  3. Technion dormitories include special apartments for students with physical disabilities.

All relevant dormitory management offices are handicap accessible.
